Once Upon A Book Live Unplugged Event (Key Stage 2)

We are thrilled to announce that we have won the Super Readers Award (New Territories West Region) in the Primary Division of the Super Readers Category at the Once Upon A Book Storytelling Competition 2025/26!

In the competition, students from SLSJ displayed a passion for reading across genres, as well as the confidence and skills to present the story verbally. It echoes with the school’s focus of promoting reading and self-learning in a holistic manner.

Reading is a cornerstone of lifelong learning, and storytelling is a fantastic way to build confidence and skills in public speaking. What an inspiring celebration of the passion of reading and creativity by our fellow confident St. Johnians.

在今次比賽中，我校的學生展現出對跨科閱讀的熱情，以及口述故事的自信與技巧。這與學校全面推廣閱讀及自學的重點理念不謀而合。
